Light weight and easy to use, the UD200 USB 2.0 to IDE/ATAPI Converter provides an external storage solution. Portable design and rapid transfer rate make it convenient to add IDE/ATAPI Hard Disk, CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, CD-RW/DVD-Recorder, Zip Drive, LS-120, MO, etc. to the portable and desktop computers.
UD200 implements a bridge between one USB port and one ATA or ATAPI based mass storage device port. This bridge adheres to the MASS STORAGE CLASS Bulk-Only Transport specification. Hardware design allows CBW command queuing, which with vendor specific drivers allows data transfer rates up to the USB theoretical maximum.
